THESSALY, Larissa. First half of the 4th century BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 16mm, 4.34 g 6). Head of the nymph Larissa facing, turned slightly to left, wearing ampyx and pearl earring.
Rev. ΛΑΡΙΣ - ΑΙΩΝ Horse crouching to right, preparing to roll; below, double-headed ax to right. Rogers 282a. A coin of good style and with a fine, glossy dark patina. About extremely fine.
A note from BCD: Although not genuinely rare, this type is very hard to find without flaws.
