            THESSALY, Oitaioi. Circa 360s-340s BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 2.82 g 12), Herakleia Trachinia. Lion’s head to left, with spear in its jaws. 
Rev. ΟΙΤΑΩΝ  Herakles standing facing, holding club with both hands transversely across his chest; inscription to right. Valassiadis 2. Rare. An attractive example, nicely toned.. Extremely fine.
