Head of Zeus to right, wearing oak wreath; behind, ΜΕΝΕΔΗ / ΜΟΣ. Rev. ΘΕΣΣΑ / ΛΩΝ Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear with her right hand and extending shield in her left; in field to left and right, starting above the spear and continuing down, ΦΕ-ΡΕ / ΚΡ-ΑΤΗ / Σ Ν-ΕΩ / ΤΕ-ΡΟΣ; below Athena’s shield, ΝΙ. Klose 16 var. Some minor marks, otherwise, lightly toned and interesting. Nearly extremely fine.
