THESSALY, Thessalian League. Faustina II. 145-175. Tetrassarion or Sestertius (Bronze, 31mm, 20.68 g 4). ΦΑΥCΤεΙΝΑ CεΒΑCΤΗ Draped bust of Faustina II to right, her hair bound in a knot at the back. Rev. ΚΟΙΝΟΝ ΘεCCΑΛωΝ Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear. Burrer MA-G 5. Rogers 97. Extremely rare. Bold and particularly nice. Dark, blackish-green patina, about extremely fine.
