Steatite scarab. Egyptian-Canaanite, Second Intermediate Period (1640-1550 BC). Base decorated with space-filling hieroglyphs with general meaning of fortune, life; at the center, the crown of Lower Egypt. Length: 16mm. Minor crack on the back, otherwise in good condition.
