KINGS of THRACE. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.99 g, 1h). Uncertain mint. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind; no control marks. Thompson 242 records a type without control marks attributed to Pella, but the style and fabric of this piece is distinctly different from the norm at that mint.
