Poseidon Facing Reverse

KINGS of MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes. 306-283 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 16.84 g, 6h). Demetrias mint. Struck circa 294/0-288 BC. Diademed and horned head right / Poseidon Pelagaios standing left, head facing, foot on rock, holding trident; monogram to left of rock, monogram to lower right (barely visible). Newell - (obv. die CXLVI – but this issue unlisted). VF, struck with worn obverse die. Very rare mint, and only the second example known with the facing head of Poseidon on the reverse (the other in the BN in Paris).
