ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 16.81 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Kointos, Kleas, and Pleistias, magistrates. Struck 89/8 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields; to right, Roma seated facing, being crowned by Nike; B on amphora, ΔH below; all within wreath. Thompson 1127b (same dies). Good VF, a little die wear on obverse, a few spots of light deposits.
