IONIA, Achaemenid Period. Uncertain satrap. Circa 350-333 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 14.21 g). Persian king or hero in kneeling-running stance right, holding spear and bow / Incuse relief map of the hinterland of Ephesos(?). Johnston, Earliest, 26 = Weber 6238 (same obv. die); Mildenberg, Münzwesen pp. 25-6 and pl. XII, 110; BMC Ionia p. 324, 3 and 6. Near VF, scratches and scrapes on obverse, some roughness. Rare.
