IONIA, Uncertain. Circa 600-550 BC. EL Hemihekte – 1/12 Stater (7mm, 1.14 g). Milesian standard. Figural type. Head of serpent left / Incuse punch with pellet and linear device. Unpublished in the standard references, but cf. Triton XIII, lot 1310 for another recently offered (but with a different punch). Good VF. Extremely rare.
