Anonymous. Circa 225-214 BC. AR Quadrigatus (23mm, 6.89 g, 12h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Janus, slightly curved truncation / Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in galloping quadriga right driven by Victory; ROMA partly incuse and partly raised on solid tablet. Crawford 29/3; Sydenham 64a-b; RSC 23. Good VF, lightly toned, a tiny flan flaw on the bottom of the reverse.
