Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Sestertius (30mm, 18.35 g, 12h). Rome mint, 5th officina. 10th emission, AD 242. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Apollo seated left, holding branch and resting elbow on lyre. RIC IV 303a; Banti 74. Good VF, dark brown patina, minor edge split and hairline flan crack, minor die shift on obverse.
