Crowned facing busts of Heraclius and exarch Heraclius, each wearing consular robes; cross above / Large M; cross above, A/N/N/O X/III across fields; A//AΛЄξAN. DOC 15; MIBE 16a¹ (same obv. die as illustration); SB 722. EF, dark brown patina. An exceptional example, better than the one sold in Gemini V (lot 869), which realized $2400.
