Constantine IV Pogonatus, with Heraclius and Tiberius. 668-685. Æ Follis (38mm, 23.38 g, 6h). Constantinople mint, 2nd officina. Struck 669-673. From the HLT Collection. Ex Classical Numismatic Auctions XIX (19 February 1992), lot 368.

The coinage reform of Constantine IV saw the return of the large flan follis typical of the 6th century. This reform unfortunately lasted no longer than previous efforts.
