England, rich in victories), Britannia seated slightly left at base of palm tree, head right, holding anchor and rudder; attached to top of tree, three round shields inscribed DE/GALL/ET BAVA/AD DONA/WERD, DE/GALL/ET BAVA/ITER/AD HOCH STAD, and GERMA/NIA LI/BERATA/HOSTIB/FVGAT (
a victory over the French and Bavarians at Donauwerth and again at Hochstädt, leaving Germany liberated); in background, naval battle near Gibraltar, with nereid presenting a naval crown. MI 270/70; Eimer 411. EF, toned, a few marks in the field on the obverse, usual die cracks.
