Brass mirror. Iranian, mid 11th-12th centuries AD. Sand cast mirror with Chinese-style relief showing two opposing rampant lions with facing human heads; floral element in center, vine with grapes above. The flat side would have been polished so as to be reflective. Diameter: 10.1cm. See Rachel Ward,
