Pair of gold earrings. Roman, 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Each with shield with four concentric rings framing pearls and remnants of glass ornaments where the loops meet the top of the shield. Plates decorated with three globules, pendant with a ring of globules at the top of a hollow-formed, bell-shaped decoration. Overall length: 3.7cm. Surface dings and pendant beads missing, otherwise good condition.
