Pair of gold earrings. Roman, 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Each with ring of three twisted wires with a convex, granulated shield connecting one end of the loop to the other. Pendants of fluted, diamond-shaped box of gold foil above large globule above a series of tapering granules. Overall length: 3.6cm. Some encrustation and surface dings, but overall a well preserved pair.
