Pair of gold earrings. Roman, circa 3rd century AD. Each with openwork shield decorated with central glass bead. Openwork plate in form of two dolphins attached to shield, with hoops for three pendants set with gold-bezeled garnets and glass or stone beads. Overall length: 3.5cm. Some beads likely not original to the piece.
