Pair of gold earrings. Byzantine, circa 600 AD. Each with small pearl hanging within a triangular frame set with three garnets. Pendants set with garnets and amethysts. Length (not including long hooks): 6.8cm. A dusting of earthen deposits, otherwise wonderfully preserved and of a refined style. A splendid pair.
