LUCANIA, Thourioi. Circa 400-350 BC. AR Nomos (22mm, 7.45 g, 4h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla hurling stone / Bull butting right; above, ΣIM; in exergue, charioteer driving galloping quadriga right. HN Italy 1843; cf. SNG ANS 1094 (same obv. die; diff. symbol). Fine, worn obverse die. Rare symbol.
