MYSIA, Pergamum. Caracalla. AD 198-217. Æ (34mm, 20.23 g, 11h). M. Caerelius Attalus, strategus. Struck AD 215-217. Laureate and cuirassed bust right; c/m: crown / Caracalla on horseback right, head left, with right arm raised; soldier trailing behind to left; to right, statue of Asklepios set on cippus. Cf. SNG France 2231-3; SNG von Aulock 1414 (this coin); for c/m: Howgego 480. Fine, rough black patina.
