SYRIA, Decapolis. Philadelphia. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Æ (17mm, 3.77 g, 12h). Helmeted and draped bust of Athena right / ЄT/OVC/ AMV in three lines within wreath. Spijkerman 4; Rosenberger 5; SNG ANS -. VF, earthen brown patina.
The date of 441 would be an impossibility if counting in civic years. Rosenberger read it as AMP (AD 77/8), a date that would make much more sense, but, as Spijkerman saw, the date clearly reads AMV.
