MYSIA, Kyzikos. 5th-4th centuries BC. EL Stater (16mm, 16.15 g). Perseus, nude but for cloak tied around neck, kneeling right, head left, holding harpa and [head of the Medusa]; below, tunny right / Quadripartite incuse square. Von Fritze I 162; SNG France 310-1; SNG von Aulock 7308 (this coin). Good VF, lightly toned. Wonderful mythological type.
