IONIA, Phokaia. Circa 625/00 BC. EL Forty-Eighth Stater (4mm, 0.33 g). Head of griffin left / Quadripartite incuse square. Bodenstedt E2 (unlisted dies); SNG Copenhagen -; SNG von Aulock -. Good VF. Extremely rare, only two examples recorded by Bodenstedt, both in museums (Karlsruhe and Istanbul).
