PHOENICIA, Byblos (Gebal). Aynel (Enylos). Circa 340-after 332 BC. AR Shekel (24mm, 13.18 g, 8h). Three hoplites, holding shields, on galley left above waves, prow ending in lion's head; below, hippocamp left above murex shell / Lion attacking bull left; AYNEL MLK GBL (in Phoenician) above. Betlyon 20; Rouvier 642; SNG Copenhagen -; HGC 10, 138. Good VF, toned, typical die wear on obverse. Very rare.
