strategus. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust left, raising hand and holding shield decorated with aegis / Lighted altar; serpent-entwined torch on either side. SNG France 883 (same dies); Peus 384, 835 var. (placement of rev. legend). Near EF, dark green patina. Very rare.
