PAMPHYLIA, Perge. Maximinus I. AD 235-238. Æ (35mm, 23.65 g, 11h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; on breastplate, eagle standing facing, head left, with wings folded / Cult statue of Artemis Pergaea, crescent and star above thymateria flanking; all within tetrastyle temple; in pediment, eagle facing, [head left], with wings displayed. SNG France -; SNG Pfälzer -; SNG von Aulock 4692 (same dies). Good VF, brown patina. Extremely rare and better than the von Aulock specimen.
