CILICIA, Corycus. Philip I. AD 244-249. Æ (30mm, 14.44 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Thalassa, wearing a headdress of crab claws, standing facing, her head slightly left, extending arm and holding rudder and aphlaston. SNG France - (but cf. 816 for coin from same obv. die, Thalassa standing left with head left); SNG Levante 1117 (same dies). Good VF, dark green patina, very minor doubling on obverse, minor porosity. Scarcer variety with Thalassa facing.
