CILICIA, Tarsus. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ (39mm, 23.74 g, 12h). Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Tyche of Tarsus seated left on rocky outcropping, holding grain ears, with half-length figure of the river god Cydnus swimming left at her feet, surrounded by Tyches of Cilicia, Isauria, and Lycaonia, each holding grain ears and presenting wreath. SNG France 1472 var. (bust type); SNG Levante 1023 (same obv. die); SNG von Aulock 6001 (same obv. die). VF, brown patina, insignificant doubling on obverse, minor metal flaws on reverse.
