Phocas. 602-610. AV Solidus (21mm, 4.40 g, 7h). Thessalonica mint. Dated IY 8 (604/5). Crowned, draped, and cuirassed facing bust, holding globus cruciger / Angel standing facing, holding globus cruciger and long staff terminating in staurogram; H//CONOB. DOC -; MIBE 3; SB 617A (Constantinople). Superb EF, lustrous, a few light marks in the field on the reverse. Very rare.
