Bust of Christ facing, wearing nimbus crown, pallium, and colobium, raising hand in benediction, and holding Gospel book / Ruggero standing facing, wearing crown and loros and holding globus cruciger; to left, Ruggero, Duke of Apulia standing slightly right, holding reversed sword and patriarchal cross. AN (AN ligate)/R/X in inner left field. Travaini, Monetazione, 241A; Spahr 72; MEC 14, 212. Good VF, toned.
