CAROLVS · II · DEI · GRA ·, laureate, draped, and armored bust right; thistle below; to left, 1665 counterstamp / · M[A]G BRI · FRA ET · HIB REX · 16 64, cruciform coats-of-arms around VI/8 (denomination); crowned monogram in angles. Burns 2 (fig. 1053 corr.); Murray, Scottish, 23a; SCBC 5614. VF, toned, some adjustment marks on the reverse. Extremely rare with the counterstamp.
