Bronze enkolpion. Byzantine, circa 10th-12th centuries AD. With remnants of chain. Glass inlay in center of both sides. One face with Christ, hands outstretched to simulate crucifixion, above head (Golgatha). Other face with the Virgin Mary facing, in gesture of prayer.
Height (excluding chain): 9.3 cm. Rough, but overall good preservation, particularly of the inlay.
