ANGLO-SAXON, Kings of All England. Cnut. 1016-1035. AR Cut Halfpenny (19mm, 0.48 g). Quatrefoil type (BMC viii). Bristol(?) mint; Aelfwine(?), moneyer. Struck circa 1017-1023. Crowned bust left in quatrefoil / Voided long cross with triple-crescent ends and pellet at center, over quatrefoil. SCBC 1157. Good VF, attractive West country style. Rare.
