Rev. AETERNITATI / SACRVM A group of six men and a dog standing before a richly decorated palace with a pedimental roof. Attwood -. Forrer, BDM 1146. A superb and very rare medal, perfectly struck and with a rich dark patina. Good extremely fine.
From the Hall Collection, Baldwin’s 64, 4 May 2010, 107 (but there described as a cast in error).
Exactly who Florianus was is uncertain, but he was probably the map maker who was active during the third quarter of the 16th century.
