KINGS of PERGAMON. Attalos I. 241-197 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 16.88 g 12), Alexander type, c. 215-200 BC. Head of Herakles in lion skin headdress to right. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left on high backed throne; holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to left, ΔΙ over palm branch. Price 1485. A lovely Hellenistic tetradrachm on a broad flan. Toned. Extremely fine.
