Julia Paula. Augusta, AD 219-220. Denarius (Silver, 3.41 g 12). IVLIA PAVLA AVG Draped bust of Julia Paula to right, her hair in three waves and bound up in a queue at the back. Rev. CONCORDIA Concordia seated left on throne, holding a patera in her right hand; to right, star in field. BMC 171. Cohen 6. RIC 211 var. (the position of the star is unspecified). Scarce. Toned and with a fine portrait of the youthful empress. Reverse lightly struck, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

This coin is interesting from the point of view of monetary technique - the flan must have been reused because the reverse is struck over traces of an incuse head, presumably it was a restruck brockage!
