(14.1) THESSALY, Thessalian League. Circa 470s-460s BC. AR Hemidrachm (14mm, 2.56 g, 11h). Forepart of horse l., with grass in his mouth / ΘΕ-ΤΑ, wheat grain in incuse square. Franke, Geschicte, 8 and plate on p. 87, 9. See LHS 100 (23 April 2007) 222 (same dies). VF, lightly toned, a few areas of minor roughness.
