THESSALY, Pelinna. Late 3rd to early 2nd centuries BC. Æ Dichalkon (19.5mm, 6.02 g, 11h). Head of Mantho veiled r., border of dots / ΠΕΛI-NNAIΩ-N from above l., r. down and circular, helmeted Thessalian rider wearing chlamys and short tunic, charging r. with couched lance on prancing horse. This letter placement not found in consulted literature. VF, smooth dark brown patina; well centred and struck, a neat coin.
