(532.1) THESSALY, Pelinna. Mid 4th century BC. Æ Chalkous (17.5mm, 3.03 g, 11h). Thessalian cavalryman, wearing petasos and chlamys, riding l., border of dots / ΠΕΛIN l. up, NAEIΩN r. down, Mantho, veiled and draped, seated on stool r., opening a box held in her lap. See CNG e-sale 205 (25 February 2009) 101. Near VF, reddish brown patina; the obv. rough, slightly double struck and off centre, the rev. clear and attractive.
