THESSALY, Phalanna. 3rd quarter of the 4th century BC. Æ Chalkous (16mm, 3.08 g, 11h). Head of Zeus Peloris r. / Φ-A-Λ-A from above, r. down and circular, head of nymph r., her hair in sakkos tying behind. These particular obv. and rev. dies not found in the literature consulted; see Papaevangelou-Genakos period 2, plate 2, 16 for type. Near VF, green patina with some red areas; the rev. softly struck and with some surface marks.

VF, green patina with some red on the reverse, the obverse marginally off centre.
