THESSALY, Pharkadon. Last quarter of the 5th to 1st quarter of the 4th centuries BC. AR Obol (12mm, 0.77 g, 6h). Horse pacing r., border of dots / Φ-AP-KAΔ[O]-[N]IOИ from above l., r. down and circular, Athena standing l., wearing crested helmet, long robes and aegis with snakes, holds staff with her r., her l. rests on her waist; behind her, shield; all in shallow incuse square. See Künker 97 (7 March 2005) 533 (same dies). VF, lightly toned; two surface flaws outside the circle of dots on the obv., otherwise well struck and of good metal.
