(618.1) THESSALY, Pharkadon. Last quarter of the 5th to 1st quarter of the 4th centuries BC. AR Obol (11.5mm, 0.57 g, 9h). Horse pacing r., border of dots / ΦAP r. down, KAΔO l. up, Athena wearing crested helmet, long robes and aegis with snakes, standing r., holding spear with her l., her r. rests on her waist; in front of her, shield; all in shallow incuse square. Weber 2901. Near VF, toned; fields very slightly porous.


(618.2) THESSALY, Pharkadon. Last quarter of the 5th to 1st quarter of the 4th centuries BC. AR Obol (12mm, 0.82 g, 9h). Horse pacing r., border of dots / ΦA above r., P r. down, K-A l. down, the A upside down, Athena, in long robes and crested helmet, standing facing, head r., wearing aegis with snakes; spear and shield leaning on her l. side; all in shallow incuse square. See Gorny & Mosch 134 (11 October 2004) 1337 (same dies). Near VF, toned; some surface marks on both sides; fields very slightly porous.


(618.3) THESSALY, Pharkadon. Last quarter of the 5th to 1st quarter of the 4th centuries BC. AR Obol (11mm, 0.82 g, 3h). Horse cantering r., border of dots / ΦAP l. up, K above r., A r. down, inwards, Athena, wearing aegis with snakes and in long robes and crested helmet, standing facing, head r., holding spear with her l., her r. hand on her waist, shield leaning on her; all in shallow incuse square. See Gorny & Mosch 191 (11 October 2010) 1337 (same dies). Near VF, slightly uneven toning and the obverse a little off centre but very rare with cantering horse on obverse.


(618.4) THESSALY, Pharkadon. Last quarter of the 5th to 1st quarter of the 4th centuries BC. AR Obol (11.5mm, 0.81 g, 11h). Horse pacing r., border of dots / Φ-A above to l. and r., PKA l. up upside down, Athena, wearing long robes and crested helmet, standing facing, head l., holding spear with her r., her l. hand on her waist; in field r., shield leaning on tree; all in shallow incuse square. This particular letter arrangement not found in the reference sources consulted but see Nomos 4, 1272 for the types. Near VF, toned and well centred, rev. struck a little softly.
