Head of Athena r., wearing Attic helmet with raised cheek pieces, decorated with plant; in small letters behind neck, TH and Δ / Φ-A to l. and r. above, [Σ]-P retrograde to l. and r. below, Thessalian cavalryman wearing petasos, chlamys and short chiton, brandishing lagobolon with his r. hand, riding horse galloping to r. on plain ground line. Lavva 138 g (V65/R78) (this coin). Good VF, toned; a couple of small edge striking splits; rev. with traces of leftover deposits and surface roughness above horse’s head; well struck on a large flan.
