(664.1) THESSALY, Pharsalos. Mid to late 5th century BC. AR Hemidrachm (17.5mm, 3.08 g, 6h). Head of Athena r., wearing crested Attic helmet / Φ-AR from above r., downwards, head and neck of horse r., in shallow incuse square. Lavva 32 a (this coin). VF, toned; traces of leftover deposits on rev., well struck on a large flan, attractive.

Head of Athena r., wearing crested Attic helmet / Φ-A to l. and r. above, Σ-P retrograde, to l. and r. below, head and neck of horse r., in shallow, nearly circular, incuse. Lavva 60 b (V33/R36) (this coin). VF, toned, overall crystallization visible mostly in the fields, struck on a large flan.
