(689.1) THESSALY, Pherai. Early 4th century BC. Æ Dichalkon (18mm, 4.98 g, 9h). Laureate head of Ennodia r. / ΦEPAI-ON from above, r. down and circular, lion’s head spout r., water pouring from its mouth. Rogers 512, fig. 278 (same dies); see also Münzen und Medaillen Deutschland 17 (4 October 2005) 591 (same dies). Near VF, dark green patina; an attractive coin of fine style.


(689.2) THESSALY, Pherai. 4th century BC. Æ Dichalkon (17.5mm, 4.96 g, 8h). Laureate head of Ennodia r. / ΦEP-A-ION from above, r. down and circular, lion’s head spout r., water pouring from its mouth. Weber 2921. Good Fine, brown patina; a trace of flat striking on both sides.
