THESSALY, Thebai. 3rd century BC. Æ Dichalkon (18.5mm, 6.76 g, 9h). Veiled head of Demeter l., wearing grain wreath; all within border of dots / ʘHBAIΩN above, bridled horse trotting r. on exergue line; below its belly, monogram. See Nomos 4, 1349 (same rev. die). Near VF, bright green and dark brown combination patina; both sides not perfectly centred.

Veiled head of Demeter l., wearing grain wreath; all within border of dots / ʘHBAIΩ[N] above circular, horse trotting r., below monogram. Rogers 552, fig. 309. Near VF, bright green patina; the reverse high relief surfaces with tan hues.
