Head of Zeus right, wearing laurel wreath; HP monogram to left / [Θ]EΣΣA/ΛΩ[N], Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear held in her right hand, shield on her left arm; HΓ monogram in inner right field. BMC 46. Good Fine, obv. is off-center.
On this example, there are traces of the previous magistrate letters Π-I across the central field on the reverse, which must have been erased from the die. The same effect is noted on some drachms from the same issue (see lot 889.5 above).
