This third portrait of an aging Marcus Aurelius completes the set of his very rare large size coins offered in the two BCD Thessalian auctions. This collector was very pleased to have been able to offer them with nice quality specimens and wishes the buyer of Nomos 4, 1411 the best of luck if she attempts to complete the set by acquiring this and the previous lot, 957.
